In the summer of 1964, the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee and Congress for Racial Equality organized an extensive voter registration campaign throughout the state of Mississippi. This exhibit uses maps, pamphlets, and publications to represent the scope of student organizing that epitomizes the civil rights movement.
